Lyk-z & døtre is a Social Entrepreneurship company, located in Skien, Norway, and has 5 full time employees.

The company received FERD SE’s ‘Social Entrepreneur of the year’-award in 2012.

In 2013 the company became part of FERD Social Entrepreneurs portfolio in Norway.

lyk-z & daughters certify other companies such as rehabilitation companies, organizations and private companies working with youth and young adults in the lyk-z method. This way we ensure that as many youths as possible can have access to our training and create lasting change in their lives.

The key activities of the company are to deliver programs and trainings to youths directly  and to certify and train other organizations in the lyk-z method FROG, this to achieve bigger social impact.

The mission of the company is to empower youths at risk, Neets and individuals facing barriers to stay in school, to enter and master education and the labour marked. Throughthe lyk-z methodology and our leadership-and life mastery tools participants build a confident identity and find their inherent qualities and unique abilities. They experience meaning and mastery and gain a totally new understanding and responsibility of how to create the future they want for themselves.

The result is that youths return to school and work life. Inactivity and drop outs cost  society enormous sums in addition to the suffering this causes the individual youth and their families. The FROG program has been delivered to more than 3000 young people in Norway and Europe.

PRIZES & AWARDS:

  • 2012: Norwegian Social Entrepreneur of the year, awarded by the company FERD.
  • 2014: Ingeborg Lykseth was appointed by The Rotary Foundation International as a Paul Harris fellow, (This is given in appreciation of tangible and significant assistant given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among people in the world)
  • 2014: Ingeborg Lykseth was 1 of 5 finalists in the competition; Norway´s bravest Woman by the Tara Magazine.
  • 2014: Ingeborg Lykseth won the region finale i South East Norway and a finalist in the Norwegian final in the award; Norwegian Female Entrepreneur of the year
  • 2015: The FROG-program won a National prize i Spain for The Best Social Entrepreneurship in the category education and technology
  • 2019: lyk- z & døtre Was chosen by Reach for Change to be part of the project 100forchange.org. These 100 are chosen as important projects addressing children and youths in the northern countries and Baltikum.

Lyk-z has for many years participated in several international projects supported by Earsmus + and Norway Grants( EEA), both as coordinator, partner and expert partner. All these have a common goal to empower young individuals to overcome their limitations and for activity, mastery and work inclusion. At the time being we are engaged in 3 big projects.
